In my broader creative journey exploring Meta-Afrofuturism and immersive world-building, De-Monsters represents a vital, introspective pivot into the visceral immediacy of physical abstraction to confront the dark side of the human condition. While much of my work utilizes structured digital design and expansive narratives to map out speculative futures, this collection intentionally steps into the shadows, using raw form, texture, and chaotic energy to explore our deepest internal conflicts, vulnerabilities, and psychological complexities. By channeling these heavier themes through abstract expression, the project integrates into my overarching philosophy as a fearless, unfiltered look at the hidden corners of the human psyche—reminding us that understanding where we are going requires a profound and honest reckoning with who we are right now.
